Region 9 Ohio PREP Youth Instructor Training

Region 9 PREP Youth Instructor Training is designed for frontline staff working with foster care and juvenile justice agencies that would like to become instructors to reduce teen pregnancy and sexually transmitted disease rates in Delaware, Fairfield, Knox, Licking, Madison, Morrow, Pickaway and Union County . Participants that complete the one day 8-hour training will be able to competently teach an adapted evidence-based Reduce the Risk curriculum (RTR) along with transition to adulthood topics to healthy relationships, educational and career success.

Please note : Instructors that complete the training are expected to train youth ages 14-19 years old in foster care or juvenile justice within a proximal time frame from training.

Eligible Youth : The PREP program is eligible to displaced youth (foster care and juvenile justice only) ages 14-19. Adjudicated juvenile sexual offenders may not attend PREP.
